Leadership is often thought of as a person’s rank or the seniority of someone’s role in an organization, but that is just management. Leadership is about aiming high and exceeding expectations for our residents and team members. Our leadership consists of experienced and talented professionals with over 100 years of combined experience all with different and diverse backgrounds. Meet the team:

Richard Hamlet

Dr. Richard L. Hamlet, CEO

Dr. Hamlet is an Ordained Baptist minister and Founder of Ministry Outreach Foundation, (MOF) in 2003, an international faith-based relief and development agency, with ministry projects in now over 30 countries around the entire globe. He has over 30 years’ experience to date in Investment Real Estate/Financial markets.

Dr. Hamlet Currently serves as Chairman of the Board and President/CEO of MOF based in Memphis, TN. He is responsible for the origination, development, and/or financing of over 15,000 multi-family units to date, with both taxable and tax-exempt capital structures, with total development capital raised and committed in excess of $2,000,000,000. Additionally, he has served as principal in an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) property management company for a total of 10 years previously, with over 5,000 affordable housing units under management. MOF’s housing corporation currently owns and operates thirty-one (31) separate affordable multifamily units nationwide, comprising approximately 5,700 rental units, as an affordable housing developer.

R. Lucian Hamlet, Director of Asset Management

Lucian has over 13 years of property management experience in the affordable housing business with an emphasis on file audits, building and exterior maintenance. Lucian is responsible for the oversight and supervision of the PAC Housing operated properties management plans. He oversees all budgeting/cap x/personnel matters related to each site.

Hunter S. Hamlet, Director of Investment Oversight

Hunter oversees the financial and compliance monitoring of 13 sites in Tennessee and Louisiana, Hunter currently reviews all initial move in files to determine eligibility for the various programs offered at the property, sending file corrections and approving files for move in’s and recertifications. In addition, he provides oversight of property compliance matters and property financial/operating performance. Hunter trains site personnel on the process of tenant income certifications and monitoring. Hunter has 7 years’ experience in affordable housing.

Shonna Burfield

Shonna Burfield, Accounting Manager

Shonna Burfield is a graduate of Christian Brothers University in Memphis and has been a CPA for almost 20 years. She has worked in public accounting as well as owned her own business.

 

Susie Cannon

Sandra Cannon, Operations Director

Sandra (Susie) Cannon has worked in the Apartment industry for 10+ years, both in affordable and conventional. Susie has served as A Property Manager in Shreveport, Lake Charles and Lafayette Louisiana however she is a lifelong Tennessean and resides in Bolivar TN.

Michael Tankersley, Staff Accountant

Michael Tankersely has previously worked with multiple companies as an accountant/administrative support and tax return preparer. He has extensive training in multiple software applications and ministry experience working on staff with a legacy 501c3 organization.
